Best Brevo alternatives
There are hundreds of email marketing service providers out there, I have tried to look at some of the most promising ones and tried to pit them against Brevo. It is possible that I might have missed one or two, here are the best Brevo competitors that I found after thorough research:
- ActiveCampaign – Better Automation
- Moosend – Better features in less price, SMTP Server
- Constant Contact – More features for Social Channels & Online stores (Review)
- Omnisend – Better Ecommerce automation
- Sendx.io – Unlimited drip campaigns, form automation, page targeting
- MailerLite – Almost same features but cheaper
- AWeber – Better Support
- GetResponse – More features
- Benchmark Email – More reporting features in free plan, polls & surveys
The ActiveCampaign has one of the best email automation features in the industry. They have a trial plan for 14 days only in which you can add 100 contacts and send just 100 emails with all the professional plan features, except Send Time Optimisation, then the lowest plan is the Starter plan for which you need to chug out $15 per month for 1000 contacts.
If you are looking for powerful automation capabilities, I will recommend going for ActiveCampaign. You can send drip campaigns with ease and make complex sequences. Check out the pricing here.
Why choose Active Campaign (Starter Plan $15/M) over Brevo (Starter plan $9/M without add-on) –
- Email Automation and Autoresponder capabilities are better than Brevo
- ActiveCampaign offers Email & Chat support, whereas Brevo offers just email support, I found ActiveCampaign’s support quick and exact.

Moosend has got my eye with its features, deliverability, and pricing structure lately. It is an All-in-One Marketing Platform with good email automation and overall features. Moosend in its trial plan, lets you send UNLIMITED EMAILS to 1000 subscribers. And in its Pro plan which is priced very competitively at 9$ monthly, you get an SMTP Server as well. - SPAM analysis & testing: Here’s what Moosend’s support has to say about this feature “The spam report will give you an estimate of how your campaigns will do in multiple providers – but please note that this option is pure as an indicator – the best way to test your deliverability is to create a list of personal emails and normally send a campaign to them!” – Moosend Support
- One new feature that caught my eye, which I haven’t seen in any other email provider to date, is Predicted Weather Analytics, where you can send emails according to the location and its weather. My quirky mind can see multiple applications for eCommerce and physical stores.
