Omnisend was launched by Rytis Lauris and Justas Kriukas in 2014 under the name Soundest and it changed its name to Omnisend in November 2017. It’s an omnichannel marketing automation platform for e-commerce businesses with email marketing at the center.

Omnichannel is a multichannel approach to sales that aims to deliver customers with a flawless shopping experience, whether they’re shopping online from their PC or mobile device, by telephone, or in a roadside store. An omnichannel process means there is an integration between distribution, promotion, and communication channels on the rear end.

After running a digital marketing agency and looking out for the most effective marketing solutions for its clients, the co-founders came up with the vision of developing a product that will be customized for eCommerce businesses and will ideally cover their needs. They grew from an email service provider to an omnichannel marketing automation medium by launching a brand new mission with the objective of making Marketing more Relevant. Since then, they have assisted thousands of eCommerce marketers to build lasting relationships with their customers by sending relevant messages to the targeted people, at the proper time, using the correct channel.

Active Campaign

Active Campaign has one of the most advanced email automation features I’ve seen. Their campaign builder is also very impressive. They have a trial plan for 14 days only in which you can add 100 contacts and send just 100 emails with all the professional plan features. For the lowest plan, which is Lite, you will need to pay $15 per month. Check out the pricing here.

Conclusion

In July 2019, the company reported providing its service to over 50,000 across more than 130 countries in the world.  Omnisend sends over 300 million emails every month apart from millions of SMSs on behalf of its customers.

The essence of the fact that Omnisend concentrates specifically on email marketing for eCommerce is a significant point in their favour. Specializing in this zone translates that what it offers online store owners are tailored to their requirements and is accomplished satisfactorily.

You’ll find several eCommerce automation at your disposal in addition to advanced segmentation, transactional emails and SMS marketing. The email template designs are also very tempting and trendy.
